The process of taking something old, used, imperfect,
and undesireable and restoring it to it's former glory.
That is what this blog is about.
Hidden treasures in people's junk piles,
secretly beautiful pieces of history,
other folk's rubbish.
An old piece of furniture sometimes reminds me of myself.
Old. Used. Imperfect. Undesired.
Anybody feel me?
Yet, through faith in an awesome God- we can be Restored.
Sometimes it ain't easy brushing off all
that old dirt, or sanding away
the previous finish-
but in the end it is always worth it.
Always.
A little bit about me:
I'm 22 years old, finishing college, recently married, and also recently discovered my passion for interior design and anything related to it. I could spend hours watching HGTV.... (let's be honest- I totally do!). Too bad I didn't know that before I majored in Exercise Science! Yikes!
So, besides trying to decide what to do with my degree when I get it, I'm pursuing my passion on the side..... and loving it (hopefully so does my new hubbs). Who knows where it will lead- worst case scenario I end up with a bunch of cute stuff for my own home! But sharing my passion with others right now is where I'm going- full steam ahead :)
